CPL Healthcare including Homecare has a dedicated Training Unit in house which provides a wide variety of training for our Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Support workers to meet the requirements of our clients to ensure all staff is compliant.
The Healthcare Training we provide is available for our staff currently working in the agency and is also available to staff that are wishing to join the agency.

CPL Healthcare Moving and Handling Training is provided in house and the course content adheres to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Royal College of Nursing’s Guide to the Handling of People, 2005.
The course content includes the following;
CPL Healthcare Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider's course is conducted by "Heart Safety Solutions" and is certified by the Irish Heart Foundation.
CPL Healthcare Infection Control course for Health Care Assistants is delivered in our Training facilities in Clanwilliam Place. The course is in line with the Health Management Institutes – Standard Precautions in the Irish Healthcare Setting, using the recognised DVD and practical sessions.
CPL Healthcare Pandemic H1N1- Key infection prevention and control practices for healthcare staff. The course is in line with the Health Management Institutes – Standard Precautions in the Irish Healthcare Setting, using the recognised DVD and practical sessions.
The course content includes the following:
CPL Healthcare’s - Non Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention. The course is conducted in line with the Crisis Prevention institutes model. The Non – Crisis Intervention programme is a safe, non-harmful behaviour management system designed to help all staff provide for the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety and Security of disruptive, assaultive and out of control individuals even during their most violent moments.
