Operations Manager- Dublin

Operations Manager needed for a leading healthcare company in Dublin. The successful Scientist will have experience in Cytology/Anatomic Pathology. This is a full time permanent post.

Job Specification:

• Developing, supporting and reporting metrics to support the business requirements and blueprint.
• Contribute to increasing productivity and reducing the cost of testing to achieve profitability.
• Provide oversight and direction for the day-to-day operation of the site service.
• Act as technical resource to the site and any inquiries received at the Business Unit.
• Contribute to strategic planning and budgetary processes each year.
• Provide on-site technical oversight implementing new pre-analytic processes when appropriate.
• Establish and attend Operational, Quality and Contractual meetings, when appropriate.
• Support Cost of Testing, Referral Testing and other productivity measures.
• Review the quality control and quality assurance measures on a monthly basis to ensure the highest standards of good laboratory practices are achieved. 
• Facilitate training and competency assessment in all to ensure employees are appropriately skilled.

Person Specification:

• BSc(Hons) in a relevant science or equivalent.
• Preferably a post graduate qualification.
• AMLS certified.
• Excellent communication skills
