Role:

The Client
This is a 60 bed well established residential aged care facility where the focus is on excellent standards of care delivery.

Responsibilities
As Director of Nursing you will have responsibilities in each of the areas below:
•Leadership & Accountability
•Clinical Practice
•Health & Safety
•Education, Training & Development
•Administration (including personnel, finance)

The successful candidate must:
Current registration with An Bord Altranais
• Three out of the last six years working in care of the elderly
• Have a minimum of at least two years management experience and be willing to work and communicate effectively as part of a team on all levels in a challenging work environment.
• Have up-to-date knowledge of HIQA regulations and current market issues within the Gerontology field
• Preferably hold a certificate in Gerontology and a management qualification
