Agency Psychiatric Nurse for Roscommon

Cpl Healthcare is currently sourcing an Agency Psychiatric Nurse for Castlerea Day Centre, Co. Roscommon

Information:

• 1 RPN required for a few months full time Monday-Friday 9-5

• The day centre may have up to 10 service users attend daily.

• RPN’s additionally provide outreach support through home visits

Duties:

• Monitor service user’s mental health providing care and support.

• Working as part of multidisciplinary team.

• Carrying out duties delegated by CNM2

• Managing a caseload of service users.

• Building therapeutic relationship with service users.

• Care planning and evaluation and continuous risk assessment.

• Liaising with families/carers and members of the MDT.

• Supporting service users in the community through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions working towards reduction in the need for hospital admission.

• Medication monitoring and administration.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with NMBI
• Be living in and eligible to work in Ireland

• Driving licence essential
