About the Role
As a Registered Cath Lab Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, evidence‑based nursing care
- Providing expert clinical support to VMOs during cath lab procedures including coronary angiograms, pacemakers and vascular procedures
- Collaborating effectively within the Cath Lab and wider multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Acting as a role model for safe practice and professional standards
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in a Cath Lab environment
- Bachelor of Nursing
- AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to high‑quality patient care
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work effectively in a high‑functioning team
- Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable criteria
- Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiac Care (or currently working towards)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
