Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Nurse Manager (CNM1) for a South Dublin based Children’s Respite Service
This is a permanent full-time contract with an organisation that provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Working closely with the respite management team, the successful candidate will be instrumental in providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of its service users providing therapeutic interventions, practical and nursing support where appropriate.
This is a 37.5 hour a week post, working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend cover required.
To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:
- Be on the current register of the NMBI.
- Ideally you will be RNID trained but this is flexible.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ID.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards and all other relevant legislation as well as relevant social care models.
- Experience of working with children advantageous.
- Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills and change management and auditing skills.
- The ability to manage, develop and motivate a staff team.
- A flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of the service.
- A vision for change management and innovative.
- An appreciation of the dynamic balance between risk and opportunity.
