Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Intellectual Disability

Clinical Nurse Manager 2 opportunity available in North Cork/South Limerick with a long established organisation who provide care to both children and adults with special needs, and their families across North Cork and South Limerick.

This is a permanent fulltime post with responsibility for 2 designated centres where the successful candidate will ensure the provision of a person centered socially inclusive service to people with an intellectual disability. 

To be considered for the role, the following criteria apply:

• Up to date NMBI registration essential. 
• Not less than 3 years’ experience working with children/adults with an intellectual disability in a residential setting.
• Proven managerial skills with not less than three years’ experience at management level
• An appropriate management qualification to Fetac/QQ1 level 6 or equivalent.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a staff team effectively.
• Experience of managing residential budgets.
• A detailed knowledge of HIQA.
• Experience working with adults with behaviours that challenge (desirable).
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
