Clinical Perfusionist, locum opportunity

Cpl Healthcare is seeking Locum Clinical Perfusionists for a soon to be opened Cardiothoracic service at a private Cork hospital.

This locum post is with one of Ireland’s top private hospital networks and offers a very competitive rate for interested candidates. Hours of work will typically be to cover weekend hours with some requirements to be on-call.

This is a pivotal role where the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team delivering perfusion services.

To be considered for the role, interested applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Be accredited and registered by the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland as a practising Clinical Perfusionist.
• Qualifications or completed course in a Management related discipline desirable.
• MSc in a related Healthcare area desirable.
• Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
• Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Perfusionist.
• Have a strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass techniques, equipment, and procedures.
• Flexibility is essential.
