About the role
As a Registered Midwife, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality, evidence‑based care to women and newborns. You will work across a range of midwifery settings and actively contribute to positive patient experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence‑based midwifery care across the maternity journey
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Providing a high standard of customer‑focused care to women and families
- Ensuring patient, newborn and staff safety at all times
- Upholding professional, ethical and clinical standards
Essential criteria
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as a midwife
- Minimum 2 year post‑graduate midwifery experience
- Demonstrated experience across all areas of midwifery, including:
- Antenatal care
- Postnatal care
- Labour & Delivery
- Special Care Baby Unit
- Outpatients
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional, respectful and compassionate approach to care
