Physiotherapists Required

Basic Grade Physiotherapists Required- Irish Defence Forces, Military Installations East/North-East (Louth, Meath, Dublin)

The Role:

• The position will involve provision of care in military installations on the east / north-east of the country (Louth / Meath / Dublin).

• 1 WTE- 35 Hours per week

• 6 Months initially- likely to be on going

The Candidate:

• A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist with CORU registration

• Permission to work in Ireland

• Professional approach to work

• The Candidate will be required to have their own transport (Car & Licence) as they will be located in two installations and may have to travel beyond this from time to time.

• Due to the nature of injuries occurring the candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency in independent caseload management of musculoskeletal, military and sports injuries ranging from simple to complex.

• The candidate should demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be able to work as a member of the extended healthcare team. 

• The candidate will report to the Defence Forces Senior Physiotherapist.
