Cpl Healthcare in conjunction with our clients are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapists to join our team. 

These roles offer an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people (0-18) with a range of complex needs in Ireland.

The role involves interdisciplinary team working and family-centered practice, providing invaluable support to improve communication and enhance the lives of individuals with speech and language challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication difficulties in children and young people.
  • Design and implement personalized therapy intervention programs based on assessment findings, employing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, psychologists, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to develop integrated treatment plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide consultation and support to families and caregivers, offering guidance and education on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant records.
  • Actively participate in the Assessment of Need (AON) process and conduct AON assessments under the disability act.
  • Foster effective time and resource management, ensuring a self-managed workload to deliver therapy services efficiently.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by the relevant governing body (e.g., CORU in Ireland).
  • Demonstrate competence and capability in undertaking the duties associated with the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Possess relevant ICT skills for efficient documentation and communication.
  • Show a deep commitment to providing quality care and support to children and young people with communication difficulties.

Salary/Benefits:

  • Salary range: €58,000 to €69,000 EURO (experience dependent)
  • Pension scheme
  • Annual leave of 30 days per year
  • 35-hour workweek
  • Relocation package available (if applicable)
