Social Care Worker - Childrens Residential

Cpl Healthcare are currently recruiting Social care Workers for a Children's Residential Service in South Limerick City. The successful candidate will be based in a community residential setting, caring for children aged up to 18 years. This is a full time position, working both day and overnight shifts

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans
• Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person within the centre
• Promoting physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each young person
• Family and other service liaison
• Adhering to policies and procedures
• Report Writing and documentation
• To attend regular supervision with the Social Care Leader / Manager

Successful candidates will have:

• A CORU recognized Social Care qualification
• Ideally some experience working with young people or residential experience
• Full clean manual driving licence and access to a car
• Experience working with challenging behaviors and an understanding of therapeutic interventions

Salary: €38,070-53,096
