Cpl Healthcare have partnered with the Tasmania Health Service for the recruitment of experiened ED Nurses.

Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas.

The Tasmanian Health Service (THS) is a state-wide, integrated system operated by the Department of Health to provide public healthcare across three regions: North, North West, and South. It includes 4 major hospitals—Royal Hobart, Launceston General, North West Regional, and Mersey Community—offering acute, mental health, and community services, with free public care for residents

Their Emergency Department is a supportive, skilled and sustainable dynamic, high-acuity environment where no two days are the same. Daily presentations include minor injuries to critically unwell patients and major trauma.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary and diverse team of skilled clinicians who work collaboratively to deliver timely, evidence-based care to both adult and paediatric patients. The ED team thrives in a fast-paced setting, supported by hospital specialties. 

The Role:

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will:

  • Strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe, quality, and clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients, families, and other health professionals.
  • Respond to a wide range of emergency presentations, including trauma and critical illness.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment.

You will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Resus and Triage training completed and currently rotating into these areas
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Nursing
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
