Position: GP Practice Nurse

Contract: Part-time - 2 days per week

We are currently seeking an experienced GP Practice Nurse to join a well-established and supportive GP practice in County Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse who enjoys working in primary care and values patient-centred practice in a friendly, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cervical screening / smear taking
• Immunisations and vaccinations
• Wound care and dressings
• Health promotion and patient education
• Phlebotomy and ECGs
• Supporting GPs with day-to-day clinical care
• General Practice Nurse duties within a busy GP surgery

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI registration
• Previous GP Practice Nurse experience desirable
• Strong clinical and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
