Physiotherapist - Naas General Hospital

Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, are recruiting for a locum Physiotherapist, staff grade for a new opportunity in Naas General Hospital, Co. Kildare.

Physiotherapy services within the hospital include: respiratory care (including ICU), neurology (in patients), Musculoskeletal OPD (including clinical specialist triage within orthopaedics and rheumatology, GP and consultant referral), vFAC, Frailty Intervention in ED, Day Hospital, in-patient rehabilitation/General medicine, cardiac rehabilitation and women’s health

As a staff grade Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:

·      Client assessments, development and implementation of individualised treatment plans that are client centred and in line with best practice

·      Report to the physiotherapy manager / senior physiotherapist as appropriate

·      Attend staff meetings as appropriate

·      Document client records in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies

Interested candidates will have:

·      A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist with CORU registration

·      Ideally some post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting. Placement experience will be considered, we welcome applications from new graduates

·      Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

·      Permission to work in Ireland

·      Professional approach to work
