Psychologist – IHA Carlow/Kilkenny/South Tipperary
Psychologists, (staff and senior grade) are required to join the team at The Three Rivers Primary Care Autism Assessment Team in IHA Carlow/Kilkenny/South Tipperary in partnership with the HSE.
Working from a neurodiversity affirmative perspective with children and young people aged up to 18 years, the Three Rivers team offer comprehensive assessments to clients allocated to either primary care or CAMHS services.
Job responsibilities:
• Provide psychological services in line with HSE best practice,
• Conduct assessments and individual and/or group interventions
• Maintain assigned clinical caseload
The Candidate:
- A recognized post-graduate qualification as a psychologist
- Permission to work in Ireland
- Professional approach to work
- Experience of working with autistic children and adolescents
- Providing a compassionate, collaborative, strengths-based and respectful exploration of autistic preferences and experiences
