Senior Occupational Therapists - Logford/Mullingar

Occupational Therapists, Senior grade required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for new opportunities in Adult Disability Services Longford/Westmeath.

Post one

Base: Longford (covering county Longford)

Caseload: U-65’ adults with a neurological disability

Experience in seating/wheelchair provision is essential

OT manager will provide supervision

Post two

Base: Mullingar (covering Longford/Westmeath)

Caseload: Intellectual disabilities adults

Experience in seating/wheelchair provision and Sensory is desirable

OT Manager will provide supervision

The Candidate must:

• Possess a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized third level institution

• be registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU and maintain CORU registration

• have at least 3 years satisfactory post qualification experience, with experience in the disability sector an advantage

• demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills together with up to date knowledge of current thinking and practice in services for people with intellectual disabilities

• be highly motivated, flexible and committed to working as part of a team

• have a full driver’s license and own vehicle
