Social Worker Staff/Senior Grade – Offaly and Porlaoise

Social Worker required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for a new opportunity in Offaly CAMHS, Tullamore and Laois CAMHS based in Portlaoise.

There is scope for 1 WTE to cover both positions.

CAMHS is a community based service for children and young people up to the age of 18 years with moderate to severe mental health problems and includes working with families. This service offers a 9-5pm Monday to Friday service.

We have 1 WTE temporary social worker or senior social worker vacancy based in Laois Offaly YAMHS (Young Adult Mental Health). The team is based in Portlaoise.

YAMHS is a community based service for young people 16 – 18 year olds with moderate to severe mental health problems and includes work with families. This service offers a 9-5pm Monday to Friday service.

Requirements:

• Applicants will have knowledge and experience of working with young people with mental health problems and developmental conditions.
• Applicants with have knowledge and experience of assessing young people and their families.
• Applicants will have knowledge and experience delivering evidence based interventions to young people and families.
• Applicants will have knowledge and experience in working as part of a multi-disciplinary service.
• Applicants need to have knowledge and understanding of the legislation and policies relating to children/young people.

The Candidate:

• A recognized qualification as a Social Worker with CORU registration

• Permission to work in Ireland

• Professional approach to work
