Speech and Language Therapist - Cavan

Speech and Language Therapist, Staff Grade required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for full-time opportunities in Cavan General Hospital.

This post is crucial to providing a Speech & Language Therapy service during the optimal intervention period. 

It will also ensure comprehensive assessment and early rehabilitation has occurred before any service user transfers to other services or is discharged from CGH.  

The Staff Grade SLT is supervised by the Senior SLT in CGH. Dysphagia assessment and intervention is one of the most central roles of the Speech & Language Therapist working in the acute setting.

This post is critical to ensuring ongoing provision of a timely, safe, reliable, effective and efficient Speech & Language Therapy service in Cavan General Hospital. Ongoing service developments, contribution to audit and service evaluation, caseload management, health & safety and MDT working are all significant features of this role.

The candidate:

·     A recognized qualification as a SLT with CORU registration

·     Permission to work in Ireland

·     Professional approach to work
