Speech and Language Therapist Staff Grade
Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, Co. Meath
are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their team and to provide high quality speech and language therapy assessment and interventions to adults with a range of speech, language, communication, voice and eating/drinking/swallowing difficulties.
The typical caseload consists of patients presenting with a range of neurological, medical & surgical conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Duties include routine intake assessments
The Candidate:
A recognised qualification as a Speech and Language Therapist and CORU registration
Some postgraduate experience in an acute setting is desirable for staff grade applicants, placement experience will be considered
Experience of managing a general medical caseload with particular experience of stroke is desirable
Dysphagia experience and qualification
Participate in cross site work as required
Experience in conducting Videofluoroscopy is desirable
Be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
