Speech and Language Therapist, Acute Hospital-Paediatric Service, Northeast

Senior Speech and Language Therapist, required for a long-term locum opportunity to work as part of a paediatric service within a regional acute hospital in the North-East of Ireland.

Experience of FEDS, (Feeding, eating drinking swallowing) required.

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will be required to provide quality evidence based, speech and language therapy intervention for patients within the paediatric, neonatal service and NICU with a number of complex presentations. The successful candidate will work with MDT colleagues and engage in team-based work as necessary.

You will work with the Speech and Language Therapist Manager and other members of the department in co-ordinating the service and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user.  

Interested candidates will have:

·      A recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy with CORU registration.

·      A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, with a significant amount working with a paediatric caseload.

·      Experience working with neonatal and NICU patient

·      Experience of FEDS, (Feeding, eating drinking swallowing) required
