Staff Grade Occupational Therapist - Waterford

Staff Grade Occupational Therapists required by CPL Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for opportunity to work as part of the Occupational Therapy Team providing rehabilitation to older persons in rehab unit in Waterford city.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and review of treatment / intervention programmes for service users according to service standards
• Collaborate with service users, family, careers and other staff in treatment / intervention planning and in the provision of support and advice
• Plan discharge or transition of the service user between services as appropriate
• Document all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, reports and discharge summaries in accordance with local service and professional standards

The candidate: 

• A recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist with CORU registration
• Permission to work in Ireland
• Professional approach to work
• Flexibility in work practice
• Manual handling training completed

* To be eligible for Senior OT must have minimum of three years experience working with older adults
