Clinical Facilitator ICU (CNM2)

Cpl Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse educator. The role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Clinical Facilitator is with a renowned private Cork City Hospital. 

The Clinical Facilitator will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to lead a team of staff in the implementation and provision of the highest quality patient care in the CT service and Intensive care unit. He/she must demonstrate excellent work practices and acting as a role model use the necessary skills to educate others through coaching, mentoring and clinical expertise. 

To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply: 

• Registered General Nurse on the live register with The NMBI 

• Demonstrable commitment to patient Safety & Quality 

• Up to date knowledge in ICU Nursing 

• Higher Diploma in Intensive Care desirable 

• Previous experience in a Cardiothoracic setting, preferable. 

• Management qualification/educational preparation to degree level desirable. 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a people management role. 

• Proven leadership and change management skills 

• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills 

• Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills 

• Vision of development of service
