💡 About the Role
Cpl Healthcare is recruiting a Nurse Manager on behalf of our client to lead community-based nursing services across the West of Ireland. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on supporting clients to live independently at home while guiding and developing a high-performing care team. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Nurse Manager and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care in line with best practice.
Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager will provide clinical and professional leadership across community services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes. The role involves coordinating care delivery, managing care plans and ongoing assessments, and working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. Service quality will be overseen through audits and reporting, alongside effective risk management and compliance with policies and legislation.
They will support and develop staff through supervision, mentoring, onboarding, and performance management, while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. The role also involves maintaining strong communication across teams, clients, and families to ensure a consistent and high standard of service delivery.
✅ Applicant Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RCN, or RNID) with NMBI
- Full, clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Experience in community care and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of the community/disability sector
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs would be beneficial, along with knowledge of clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement. Familiarity with care management systems, IT skills, and an awareness of healthcare trends would also be an advantage.
💰 Salary: €57,000 + Company Car
⏰Working Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (Likely Mon–Thurs 8:45–5:30, Fri 8:45–4:30)
