Infection Control Nurse Manager (CNM2)

Our client, a leading private hospital in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention & Control Nurse (CNM2) to join their multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role in driving best practice, supporting staff, and embedding a strong culture of safety and collaboration across the hospital.

As Infection Prevention & Control Nurse, you will act as a subject‑matter expert and clinical leader in all aspects of IPC. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to monitor risks, respond to emerging trends, and ensure compliance with national and hospital IPC standards.

Other responsibilities will extend to leading and continuously improving infection prevention and control practices, conducting IPC audits, providing evidence‑based recommendations, monitoring infection risks, rates, and trends across the hospital and managing infection outbreaks.

Candidate Criteria:

• Registered Nurse with NMBI registration
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification nursing experience
• Recent experience in Infection Prevention & Control
• Strong leadership, communication, and audit skills
• Higher Diploma in Infection Prevention & Control desirable
