Senior Grade OT - Dublin

Senior Grade OT required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for new opportunities in Community Healthcare Network (CHN) Ballyfermot (Base: Inchicore Primary care centre; and some sessions in Ballyfermot Primary Care Centre, with some work taking place in Ballyfermot community centres / library)

Access to a car is not a specific requirement for this role; but the person will need to factor in travelling by bus occasionally between Ballyfermot and Inchicore Primary Care Centres.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the Occupational Therapy team

• Provide assessment and intervention

• Comprehensive clinical induction, access to some HSE training as required by the role

The requirements are:

• Preferably have paediatric experience (DCD assessments / neurodivergence / autism, some CAMHs and paediatric disability experience would be preferred).
• Proficiency in written and spoken (healthcare) English
• The duration is 3-6 months, and may be extended month – month.
• Preferably the candidate(s) would also have an enthusiastic attitude and be keen to take on what is a challenging work environment –meaning lower than average staffing levels, and lengthy waiting times.
