Deputy Manager – Under 18s Residential Service (Clonmel, Tipperary)

CPL in association with their client, a leading homeless and youth residential service in Ireland, is seeking a Deputy Manager for its Under 18’s Residential Service in Clonmel.

This is a full-time (39 hours, Monday–Friday), specific purpose role supporting the delivery of high-quality residential care to young people aged 15–17.

The service provides short-term accommodation and trauma-informed support including key working, care planning, advocacy, and engagement with external agencies.

You will support the Service Manager in operational oversight, staff supervision, safeguarding, and day-to-day service delivery.

Salary: €51,800 – €55,800

Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Social Care or related field (Level 7/8 minimum)
• Experience working in residential childcare, homeless services, or similar social care settings
• Supervisory or senior practitioner experience desirable
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and HIQA standards
• Ability to support staff, manage shifts, and contribute to team leadership
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice
• Full clean driving licence desirable
