💡 Now Hiring: Residential Service Manager / Team Leader – Supported Accommodation (Adults with Disabilities)

We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager / Team Leader to lead a supported accommodation service for adults with disabilities in Sligo.

This is a dual leadership role, combining:

  • 15.6 hours as Residential Service Manager
  • 23.4 hours as Team Leader

This position carries responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of a designated centre, ensuring services are delivered in line with legislation, best practice, and person-centred principles.

🌟 The Role

As Person in Charge, you will:

  • Oversee the overall management of the designated residential service
  • Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations and safeguarding legislation
  • Lead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary staff team
  • Manage operational planning, risk, quality, and continuous service improvement
  • Liaise with families, stakeholders, regulators, and senior management
  • Oversee staffing, finance, facilities, and resources
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, quality, and continuous improvement

📝 Requirements

  • Minimum Level 7 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Management qualification (or willingness to complete same as soon as possible)
  • Minimum 3 years’ management or supervisory experience within a HIQA-registered service
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • Experience in Acquired Brain Injury, disability, or Mental Health services (advantageous)
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility, including participation in an on-call rota

💰 Salary

  • Residential Service Manager: €66,125.91 – €70,345.25 (pro rata)
  • Team Leader: €46,767.01 – €51,496.72 (pro rata)
