Cpl Healthcare is currently recruiting a Senior Psychologist on behalf of the Irish Prison Service (IPS) for a specialist role based in Midlands Prison, Co. Laois.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded national psychology service and work within a multidisciplinary environment supporting individuals with complex mental health, emotional, behavioural, and offence-related needs.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing psychological assessment and intervention services, with a particular focus on individuals convicted of sexual violence. This includes participation in the nationally recognised Building Better Lives Programme, a structured intervention designed to reduce reoffending and support meaningful behavioural change.
As a Senior Psychologist within the Irish Prison Service, you will work directly with individuals presenting with a broad range of clinical and offence-related difficulties while contributing to rehabilitation, risk management, and public safety.
