Social Care Leader - Under 12's Residential

Cpl Healthcare are delighted to partner with our client in the recruitment of a Social Care Leader to join an under 12's residential service in Tipperary.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential settings.

Implement individual care plans to meet the emotional, social, and educational needs of young people.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment in compliance with HIQA standards, child protection policies, and safeguarding legislation.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, management, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.

Support young people in preparation for leaving care, as appropriate, and facilitate independence skills.

Participate in reflective practice, training, and professional development.

Requirements

A relevant qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education Level 8, or a related discipline (minimum Level 7).

Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in residential childcare.

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of HIQA regulations, child protection, and safeguarding standards.

Ability to work with young people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
