Social Care Team Leader/ Deputy Manager

Cpl Healthcare is excited to be accepting applications from experienced Social Care Professional for a full-time Social Care Team Leader/ Deputy Manager position in Ashford, Co Wicklow. Our client provides short- to medium-term residential care for separated children seeking asylum up to the age of 17. The service focuses on building meaningful relationships, supporting young people to develop trust, integrate into society, and work towards a stable and independent future.

A successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced and supportive team and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential home. As well as working closely with the management team to ensure that the team are creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in residential care.

Role Requirements:

·         A minimum level 8 degree in Social Care and 3 years’ experience of working in a social care grade with young people

OR

·         Level 7 in Social Care and a relevant management qualification and 3 years’ experience of working at a social care grade with young people. 

AND

·         Strong experience in and demonstrated ability to empower others to achieve. 

·         Personal attributes of positivity, flexibility and problem-solving attitude as well as empathy and maturity are essential. 

·         A current full clean Driving License prior to commencement of employment.
