Deputy Manager – Residential Youth Services (Clonmel)

Full-time, Monday - Friday

We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager to join a residential service supporting young people aged 15–17 in a safe, structured environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Care professional to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day running of the residential centre
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of social care staff
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care plans are implemented and reviewed
• Promote compliance with HIQA standards and relevant childcare regulations
• Work collaboratively with families and external stakeholders
• Assist in staff supervision, recruitment, and performance management

Requirements:

• Relevant Social Care qualification (CORU recognised)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare
• Strong leadership and staff supervision experience
• Experience supporting young people with complex needs
