Person in Charge – Tipperary

Are you a passionate nursing professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in eldercare? Our client is seeking a dedicated Person in Charge to lead their team and ensure the highest standards of care for its residents.

You will direct and coordinate all aspects of nursing home management, supervise staff and foster a positive, respectful environment, uphold best practices in residential care and comply with HIQA National Quality Standards and advocate for person-centered care and safeguard residents’ well-being

Eligibility Criteria:

• Registered nurse with active registration with An Bord Altranais
• Minimum 6 years post registration nursing experience, with at least 3 years in eldercare and 3 years in a managerial role
• Post-registration qualification in healthcare management 
• Up-to-date certifications in infection control, manual handling, medication management, CPR, dementia care, and safeguarding (training available)
• Additional post-registration qualifications in gerontology or dementia care are advantageous.
• Full Irish driver’s license and access to personal transport
• Excellent organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability, innovation, and problem-solving mindset
• Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement
• Financial acumen and HR management experience
