Day Centre Manager – Alzheimer’s / Dementia Service, Waterford

CPL Healthcare is delighted to partner with Ireland’s leading dementia‑specific service provider, an organisation dedicated to supporting people living with dementia and their carers within local communities nationwide.

We are currently recruiting a Day Centre Manager to lead the Day Centre service. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred dementia care. As Day Centre Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective and person‑centred operation of the service.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience supporting people living with dementia
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider management team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive approach with the ability to lead by example

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Registered nurse with active NMBI registration.
• Minimum 5 years’ post‑qualification experience in the health, social care, or voluntary sector
• Experience working with individuals with complex needsDemonstrated knowledge of dementia care, older persons’ services, the voluntary and community sector.
• Full clean driving licence
