CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce we have partnered up with a client who supports adults with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities to live independently and as part of their communities.
We are currently accepting CVs for the role of Assistant Manager in their Residential Service in Waterford City. Successful candidate will be employed on a full time basis (37 hours per week) for a one year fixed term contract.
As Assistant Manager, you will be the supporting the Person in Charge (PIC) for HIQA purposes, leading day-to-day operations, managing teams, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent outcomes for the people our client supports.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Service Manager in leading and managing day-to-day service delivery
- Ensure compliance with HIQA, safeguarding, and regulatory standards
- Manage budgets, resources, and workforce planning
- Promote community inclusion and continuous service improvement
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a similar focused role.
- A QQI Level 5 Healthcare Major Award or an equivalent care related qualification.
- A Management Qualification.
- Previous experience in leading and managing a team.
- In possession of the necessary documentation to work and live in the Republic of Ireland.
- Hold full a (clean) driver licence and is willing to travel for work on a regular basis and outside of normal working hours when required.
- Willing to embrace change and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning throughout the service.
